At the FGM we believe that the stability of the pelvis and the lumbar spine are paramount in effective movement and health.
For us the core constitutes three muscle groups the inner thighs (adductors), the pelvis floor (Levator Ani) and the four abdominal muscles.
We offer group classes in six weeks series A new sessions start every two weeks. Introductory and educational workshops monthly. Why Walking?
Walking is the best way to bring permanent change to the body. The human body will accept any pattern we put into it whether that pattern is good or bad. This is how chronic injuries develop out of seemingly innocent or even unknown events.

The FGM Core Walking Program teaches a natural walking technique that helps align your bones, free your joints and bring welcome relief to overused muscles. When the body moves as it is designed to, all parts work in harmony. Using the FitzGordon Method, we train you to bring your body into the state of balance that is individual, and healing, to you.

Muscle imbalance, combined with compensation for that imbalance, is an overwhelming cause of chronic pain and injury. We specialize in rehabilitating chronic injuries: Sciatica; Piriformis syndrome; Plantar faciitis; neck and shoulder tension, etc. And pain from each can be relieved when you change your movement pattern holistically. Transforming the way you move your whole body heals your injuries and changes your life •
